The hunter must be cunning, crafty and very patient. He must understand his prey, and be worthy of the hunt.

The most difficult part of the design process was taking what is essentially a 3d world and squeezing it into a 2d micro world. Some ideas look great in our mind's eye (or even on paper), but once you see them on your devices you realize it just doesn't work. You have to find the balance.
That's how it was designing the hunter based on W.o.W.. His clothes were ugly, so I had to make it work for our purposes. Even after making the original game version of the character I just didn't like it. I tried a few things like giving him a bushy mustache and made him bald to give him some character. But he still looked so goofy.
In the end, when we went with the streamlined look, the short shorts, the funky belt and that vest [ugh], were all gone. I'm a lot happier for it.
